Kayla Wright, FNP
Kayla attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama for her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees.
Practicing medicine is one of Kayla’s passions for a number of reasons. First, practicing medicine is never boring. Every day is different, and every patient is different. Medicine is challenging and continually helps her to learn and grow as a person and a professional. Kayla feels that it is a very rewarding profession. She says that it is such great feeling to be able to truly make an impact on another person’s life.
Kayla has a huge heart for missions, both local and global. She wanted to choose a profession where she could truly help others in all aspects of life. She became a nurse practitioner to make a difference and meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of her patients.
Kayla resides in Carrollton, Georgia. When she originally met Dr. Howell, they were working in Anniston, Alabama and she feels God put her in her path. She wanted to learn all that she could from Dr. Howell, so when Dr. Howell was looking for a nurse practitioner at her new practice, Kayla jumped at the chance and moved to Georgia. She had been looking to make a change and she took a leap of faith when this opportunity arose to work at It is Well Healthcare. She says she has loved every minute of it!
In Kayla’s free time, she loves to play the guitar, sing, travel, and tend to her honeybees. She loves spending time outdoors and is always up for an adventure.
Taylor Garmon, Licensed Aesthetician
Taylor Garmon is a Licensed Aesthetician at It Is Well Healthcare. She pursued her dream of skincare and beauty a little over a year ago. Taylor graduated from Dalton Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology. She is a local to Dallas and cannot wait to treat everyone that walks into her facial room. Taylor is known around Dallas as the “Spray Tan Queen.” She will be offering a wide range of services to suit everyone’s needs. Taylor and her Husband have a precious little girl, Anniston Grace. Taylor loves to shop and spend time with family in her free time.
Julie Banks, PA-C
Julie was born and raised in Medfield, MA. She got her bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Clemson University in 2009. After graduating she moved to Atlanta to complete her dietetic internship at Emory University. She started her career as a dietician, working at Hamilton Medical Center for 2 years before deciding to return to school. After realizing her passion for medicine, she attended Trevecca Nazarene University’s PA program and started working as a Physician Assistant in 2014. Julie has worked in primary care for several years, and is now working in the medical spa here at It Is Well Healthcare. In her free time Julie enjoys distance running, cooking, and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
